When I was trying to figure out my career path, I wanted to find something in the sciences that wasn’t in a lab or in a traditional medical office. That’s where I found physical therapy: a profession that gets to really connect with patients as we work together towards goals of better living and movement.
My first introduction to pelvic PT started out as an excuse to hang out with my friend who was very passionate about this field and accompanying her to workshops and lectures. It led to a revelation and appreciation of how impactful we can be as PTs in the pelvic world. We get to ✨empower✨ people who struggle with very vulnerable and difficult situations and it really puts into perspective some of the hardships people with pelvic floor impairments deal with that affect every part of their day. I’m so excited that I get to be a part of people’s journey to finding a happier and healthier life here at Hey Babe!

“From an early age, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare. Physical therapy drew me in because of its unique balance of movement, education, and the opportunity to help people take an active role in improving their health and well-being.
Over time, I found my passion in pelvic floor physical therapy. Hearing friends and family share their experiences—feeling anxious about childbirth, uncertain about changes in their bodies, or unsure where to find support—opened my eyes to how essential this area of care truly is.
Everyone deserves access to better education, compassionate care, and the confidence to feel at home in their own body.
Helping people navigate such a personal and often overlooked aspect of health has become one of the most meaningful parts of my career. Seeing patients regain trust in their bodies and improve their quality of life continues to inspire me every day.”

Dr. Dalma has a passion for pelvic health and a heart for helping her patients feel strong, supported, and at home in their bodies.
“My passion for physical therapy began when I took my grandma to a PT clinic to rehab her hip after a fall. I noticed how the providers didn’t just see the patients once and moved on. They work with their patients over weeks or months to achieve their goals, becoming a consistent source of support, encouragement, and accountability. This is the type of care that I strive to provide to all of my patients.
I decided to focus on pelvic health when I realized how important this speciality was in restoring confidence, function, and connection to one’s body. I also want to help bring awareness to Spanish speaking communities as it’s an area in health care that is not often discussed. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know each person’s story. No two bodies, or goals, are the same.”
